Daily Prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? Do you say things that you regret saying? When you said it, was it with malice? Yep, we all have done that. Not good. We get angry or are hurt or even baffled. Is it right? Does it tear down someone? Our speech should edify God. It should not destroy our witness. Even if you are correct in what you say, does it do any good or does it just tear down? If someone is under your skin, pray for them and the situation first. I'm as guilty as anybody, get ticked and lash out. Not wise to do that and I have to ask forgiveness and repent.

Psalms 19:14
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Thy sight, O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer.
NAS

Psalms 141:3-4
Set a guard, O LORD, over my mouth;Keep watch over the door of my lips. Do not incline my heart to any evil thing,To practice deeds of wickedness With men who do iniquity; And do not let me eat of their delicacies.
NAS

This is my prayer that I do not grieve the Holy Spirit with junk out of my mouth. Slow to anger, slow to speak, quick to pray!

Ephesians 4:29-32
Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, that it may give grace to those who hear. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you. NAS

All I'm trying to get across is we need to be watchful of what our voices emit! Pray about this and seek the Lord's wisdom. Remember Isaiah, he's healing and getting better...

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your Word and the wisdom it brings. Help us use this wisdom and not emit trash out of our mouths. Teach us to edify and not tear down others. Help us see you in all we do. Thank you for your blessings on Isaiah, continue to grant rest for the family. O Lord we praise your holy name. We lift you up and seek you in all we do. Show us your love and wisdom. Guide us through this day and help us be aware of the needs around us. in Jesus name, Amen!
