Good morning! Man o man, crisp start to the day! Wonderful! How are we faithing? Does it get hard to not continue in a sin? Yep, it gets tough and we feel ashamed to have to go to Jesus and ask for forgiveness...again. We must remember we are still here in this sinful earth occupying this flesh and blood and the desires that go with it. Get in the Word and renew your mind with the thoughts of God. Computer brains, just like the Petra song says, garbage in, garbage out. Fill your mind with Gods word and you will drift away from sinful thoughts.
Galatians 5:16-18
So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.
NIV
Hebrews 4:15
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are-yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
NIV
Those are cool man, Jesus knows exactly what we deal with. He has been where you are. He is our salvation and our advocate to the throne! Since he understands directly what we are up against, he refreshes us every time we come to him! Don't let the enemy get you depressed over what you have done. Guilt and condemnation is from the pit of hell and smells of brimstone. Conviction and forgiveness is Jesus' way! Remember Doug Reed that he does not meet with another posterior surroyal antler incident on his expedition...remember Tanya Fulfer...
