Daily Prayer

Good morning to y'all! Check this out,

Nahum 1:7
7 The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him,
NIV

John 14:1-4
"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going." NIV

Trust is a big issue for us. Breaking trust can cause lasting damage to relationships. Past trusts broken can influence current relationships even when one wasn't even a part of that break. Trust is very important for our relationship health. Whether it is in a marriage , a co-worker, a buddy or our kids. Having that trust betrayed can cause lasting damage to our psyche and our sense of trust we have towards others. Check this,

Proverbs 3:5-8
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him,and he will make your paths straight.
Do not be wise in your own eyes;fear the LORD and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.
NIV

Wow! That kind of trust is vital to our existence. Believing that God is in control, has YOUR best interest in mind makes our days a whole lot easier to cope with. Shunning evil is good for us mentally and physically. Seeking God and trusting he will guide and help you is a comfort that allows us to put our heart out there without fear of it being stomped on. It may get stomped on but we no longer fear that because we trust God is with us and will carry us through any pain we endure. Remember,

Romans 8:38-39
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
NAS

Nuff said. Remember each other and to go to God first!

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your wisdom we get from your Word. Thank you for all you do for us. Teach us to be representatives of your kingdom and love. Guide us, make us aware where we fail. Help us confess immediately when we sin. Heal our fears and physical maladies. Show us your love and mercy. in Jesus name, Amen!
