Daily Prayer

Great morning to you! How are we faithing? Do you endure or overcome? Do you say "woe is me" or look for the silver lining? Making a conscience effort to seek God no matter what is happening is not always easy. Getting wrapped up in the circumstance is a human thing to do. Training our mind to see beyond the circumstance, now that's where faith and the Word comes in. Believing the promises of God takes determination and courage to step out on faith. Many times things happen that just slam us to the ground and we lay there moaning. Get up! Don't let the enemy win! Our God is bigger'n all of it!

Isaiah 41:10
'Do not fear, for I am with you;Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you,Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'
NAS

Whatever happens to us causes us to grow. Sometimes we don't see it immediately but know that it is true. Just reflect on some past things that seemed like the end of the world and look at what you learned. Whether it is sympathy to help someone else go through the same thing or a revelation for you. Down times lead to up times. When things seem the bleakest is when God is able to show his greatness. Or at least we seem to be receptive right then.

James 1:2-4
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
NIV

Also remember God does not tempt you with evil or send evil things your way.

James 1:12-14
Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial , because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.
When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed.
NIV

All I want to get across is that when you face adversity, look beyond the junk and see God. Know you are loved and forgiven! Seek his wisdom and realize his love and grace WILL see you through!

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for all you do for us and help us see what we need to see when we are in the pit of despair. Sow us your love and grace and teach us to see beyond the circumstance. We lift those in prison, give them a touch today and every day. Show us how to know without a doubt you are with us! We lift those on this list that need you. We also pray for all the unspoken or" to embarrassed to speak" things. Heal and cleans us. Forgive us all we goof up on. Thank you for caring. Please be with all our decisions we make. Make them yours. in Jesus name, Amen!
