Daily Prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? Man, sometimes being around sin causes us to entertain the idea of a sin or even committing it. Are we perfect? Haven't met anyone yet but we sure can run from it or rebuke it. Certain sins are very enticing and can be eye candy. Sin can become an Idol. Lust for anything can become consumimg. A car, a house, a bike, land, a woman, a man, a promotion etc. Our own lusts lead to sin and can break that fellowship with God. We must be careful we are not consumed by passion for something to the point it becomes an idol.

1 Corinthians 15:33-34
Do not be misled: "Bad company corrupts good character." Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God-I say this to your shame.
NIV

This is for our own good. Does this mean we don't associate with sinners? No, we all are sinners, this means spending time with stuff that takes us away from the Words teaching can be a detriment to our own character.

Jude 17-19
But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. They said to you, "In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires." These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.
NIV

All around us man, watch out! Be convinced in your heart who Jesus is, be convinced of your place in heaven. Don't let the world tell you different. Don't argue with them about it. Live as the Word teaches and listen to the Holy Spirit. God is with you and will not toss you to the wolves. Remember Tiff and Mike as they travel...remember the Force family...remember Elenore that she make choices that are best for all...remember Connie...

Heavenly Father,

We lift these concerns to you and know you are in control. Open the eyes of our hearts and help us see Jesus. Thank you for all you do for us and show your ways. Grant us courage to stand for you and your principles. Bless the marriages. Make them stronger than the forces of the enemy. In Jesus name, Amen
