Good morning! This morning I am going to do what I try hard not to do because this is about God, not me. I will be using the words me,my, I and those kind of words.
I have always been a dreamer. In this I mean that I dream typical dreams that are just physiological releases of brain function and I also dream things that are thought provoking and in the past, rang true. Last night was one of those nights where I went to places and saw things that were not manifestations of yesterdays events. I have no clue as to why these visions happened but I do know when they mean something. When I read the Word the next day after a night like last night, scripture that I'm led to relates directly. Today I need to tell you that God does indeed love us. God equips us with wisdom from his Word that is used every day. Also don't get into arguments over Christianity for winning the arguments sake, live this christian life and please God and let your life speak. Winning an argument doesn't lead someone to Christ. Love and showing it unselfishly does.
1 John 3:16-20
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.
NIV
Read and equip yourself so you can answer questions in a loving manner that may lead that person to the truth. Wars are fought over many things. Sometimes they are just and sometimes they are selfish. Sometimes over words and sometimes over beliefs. Sometimes it is good verses evil. This country is in one right now and regardless of political views, our troops are there with faith in their country, leaders, families that they are doing what is right.
John 15:12-13
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
KJV
They are doing this and I think we should lift them daily in prayer so that that they show mercy when they can and so they are not damaged mentally and spiritually. Thank you for indulging me today.
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your love and vision. Thank you for teaching us you ways. We lift the troops to you. Keep them safe in all ways. Lord, help us be the way we should be. Help us be humble and loving even when we are not getting it back., Help us remember to look to you first, not as the last resort. Lord we ask your blessings on us and our country. We ask for your touch in all our lives. Thank you for your guiding loving hand. in Jesus name,Amen
