Great cool, crisp fall morning to you! Man this is great time of year! You guys will probably start throwing rocks this direction with statements like those.
Do you grow tired of crap that comes your way? Do you feel like all is falling in on you? Ever get to the point you just want to throw in the towel? Listen up;
Isaiah 40:28-31
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. He gives strength to the weary, And to him who lacks might He increases power. Though youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly, Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.
NAS
Jesus is our strength. Look at the news and observe all the people who rely on their own wisdom. Look at the despair or deceit that causes the calamity you see. Killings, suicides, acts of violence and debauchery. Why? Selfishness, relying on ones own self and not on the wisdom of God.
Man's wisdom and not the creator. Not all things you see are due to selfishness but observe and see when it is. We can learn from these actions and stand on the Word so we don't repeat these same actions. Kinda like bringing up kids and trying to pass on the lessons we have learned. We didn't listen when we were kids and now we get it. Use that same line of thinking and look beyond the circumstance and see what we are to learn. God isn't going to deprive you for deprivations sake, he will give you what is best! Believe it!
2 Corinthians 4:16-18
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
NIV
Amen to that! Remember the lessons in our past? We are still learning and need to remember that God is still teaching. Remember our leaders that they make sound choices based on what is good and best, not on pleasing people. Remember Kellyn...remember to pray and lift up every thing we say and do...
Heavenly Father,
We lift up our leaders to you, help them see the choices they need to make. Give them courage to make the correct ones. We lift Kellynn to you, let her know you are with her. Lord we want to do the things that honor and glorify you, grant us the wisdom and courage to do so. Help us look beyond our troubles and see the lesson coming. Lord we honor you, in Jesus name,Amen
