Daily Prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? Read this;

Luke 6:27-31
"But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you.

Notice nothing is said about liking it, just do these things because they are right and noble and commanded by God. These principles are so pertinent to us. We all struggle so hard with knuckleheads,( as we see them), who just stomp all over us. The thing to remember is the last line, do unto others as we would have them do to you. We don't know why they may be doing what they do. We don't know what is causing the bad attitude towards us. Everyone has bad times and we need to remember to lift enemies up to God. Prayer for our adversary is good for us as well as them. When we pray for them, pretty hard to feed those nasty thoughts we may have. Remember the next time you are confronted with that jerk or feel the need to smack the stuff out of them to say a quick prayer and show that love of Christ. Remember Kristian, she needs us to lift her up...lift up your family and friends to God, we all need a touch...

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for showing us by example how we are to treat others. Thank you for you Word that sustains us. Lord we lift your name on high. Show us the way. We lift the people on this list to you so that you bless them. Be with Kristian, let her know you are with her, show her what she will come out of this time with! Thank you for your blessings, in Jesus name,Amen!
