Good rainy morning! Man, the noise of the rain, the overcast, makes me want to sleeeep....how are we faithing? Off we go to another adventure in this world! Optimistic and sometimes annoying attitude to some but why would we not carry that to the world and to whom we meet? Looking forward to things that God has in store, even if it means enduring some hardship helps us see past the immediate and recognise the results of whatever is taking place. Sharing these things with others is a way of relieving the burden and helping others see Gods workings in our lives. We all go through tough times but our attitude makes a difference whether we are in the corner crying or standing firm on the Word that God is with us.
Hebrews 13:6
"Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
So we say with confidence,
"The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" NIV
and again,
Psalms 56:44
In God, whose word I praise,in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?
NIV
Cement these in the back of your mind! When you are in a trial, bring these Words to the forefront and seek God and his will. Remember,
1 Peter 5:6-7
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
NIV
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for being with us all the time. Help us seek you and look to you when we feel alone and heavily burdened. We thank you for your blessings and for another day to shine for you! Help us know you are right there with us all the time. Help us train our mind to remember your Word always. Lord we lift the firefighters and the victims of the wild fires in California to you. We lift Ken and Stephanie Pflug to you. Comfort and make them know you are with them. Lord I lift Kathy to you, show her your will and Word. Open it up to her. Lord we lift Richard Peddicord to you, your will be done, make him aware of your grace. Thank you for all you do for us and help us be wise in all our endeavours. in Jesus name, Amen
