Good morning! How are we faithing? Struggle with the truth? Yep, me too. Contradictions abound all around us. In the media, on TV, in others lives. We've heard tons of times, " I aint goin to that church, it's full of hypocrites!" Well duh! Of course it is! Being redeemed by the blood of Christ doesn't make us perfect. Still being in this flesh is assurance that we will stumble and fall. Just because we screw up doesn't mean we are not saved. We can't get good enough before we come to God and we won't become sinless when we do. Focusing on Jesus, seeking his wisdom in the Word and praying and talking to God constantly helps us continue to improve. When you fall, be quick to recognise the boo-boo and rectify it. Stay on the path Jesus set for us and be quick to get back on the road when you spin out.
John 14:12-14
I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
NIV
Psalms 25:4-5
Show me your ways, O LORD,teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me,for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.
NIV
John 14:6
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
NIV
Remember the truth you have discovered and don't let anything or anyone snatch it away from you!
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your wisdom and truth! Help us keep it in our minds and help us not succumb to the pressures in this world. Lord we ask that you show us you love and truth so we may do the same for the people we meet. Lord help the firefighters and the refugees in California. Lord we praise you and thank you for saving us. Guide us today, help us see you in all we do! in Jesus name, Amen
