daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? Boy are we good at stressing ourselves. I know I do and most times it's over something I really don't need to stress over because the answer is before me but I don't find it palatable. Understand that? You too? You know, the right thing to do might be popular. You may suffer over the right thing to do. So what. Isn't doing the right thing much more important than our momentary comfort? Doing the right thing because it's right is it's own reward. Oh I know some hold it over you and I and that recognition or dominance is what they're seeking but we're talking about things that we do because we love our God and the bronx cheer to the world that thinks we're silly for not looking out for number one. Any ill gotten gain has caused someone else to loose. We've even heard things like,"they've screwed you so...pay back"....what?  Did it sucked when you were got? Then where is your compassion man? Why would you inflict the same on someone else? Think that evens it up? Foolishness. Read the Word. Apply it. Jesus told us to love God first and do as you would want done to you. There is no ledger for keep score of hurts and gains. Wise up and do everything as if you are doing it for and to God, cause you are.

Rom_12:19
Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Lev 19:18
Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

Pro 24:29
Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me: I will render to the man according to his work.

Mat 5:44-45
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;  That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
