daily prayer

    Good morning! How are we faithing? Wintry weather, so pretty this morning.
As we walk through this life it is important to ask questions and check out things before we disseminate them. Many a false doctrine has grown from an innocent mistake. It's like when I cut a board and it turns out not to be so straight. In the beginning cut, a 64th of an inch doesn't much matter but 12 feet down the mistake has grown way bigger.  It's happening all around us.  We take a simple thing like, oh lets say a statement like "God wants me happy", that grows to where we allow things that otherwise would not be acceptable to become OK because of the first statement. Never is sin allowed to achieve an end. Never should we be OK with an infraction to achieve a ideal. God never asked of us anything that would require a sin to achieve it. The deceiver is responsible for that deception and we are guilty for falling for it. Check this out;

2Co 11:14-15
  And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

It is amazing that Adam and Eve walked and talked with God daily. They had all the wisdom man could hold and yet our common enemy is so good at deception that they fell for it. That lets me know I am that much more susceptible to his wares therefore I MUST stay in tune to God by the Word daily and checking what I hear, what I see and what I feel to scripture and even then satan could fool me. But praise God my savior whooped him and in that is my grace and salvation!

2Co 11:3
 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

remember Megan...remember John's Mom...remember Anna Bannana and her fresh baby boy!

Heavenly Father,
   Thank you for your wisdom and grace that saves even me. Help us all to seek your face and to see your ways over ours. Help us put our physical under submission to you. In Jesus name, amen
