daily prayer

     Good morning! How are we faithing?  How does one approach a subject that has been misinterpreted, lied about, used for gain, manipulated, used for self righteousness and even judgement on the the part of so many? How do I get right to the crux of it in this short forum? Well lets do this. Too many people come to me saying they have been good, obeyed the golden rule, lived upright and don't drink so they must be acceptable by God and are in heaven or will be when they die. This matter of faith by works vs faith seen by works. Salvation is by faith unto works and not salvation by works. One must trust that when Jesus said on the cross that it is finished, paid in full, that it is indeed finished and paid in full. A trust that Jesus loved you enough to pay for your sin debt is where that trust lives. As a result of accepting that gift of pardon, believing what Jesus said when he said,"no one comes to the Father but by me" therefore salvation is a gift, free gratis, you can't earn it. That belief leads one to want to follow the saviors teachings thus ones faith is visible because of works. If we could do works to earn faith, the cross and all that would have been for nothing. If it were possible to earn or do anything that secured salvation, Jesus would not have needed to come. So just saying one believes but who's life doesn't change is suspect. There are no magic words that earn that salvation but words that come from a heart that believes results in life changes. Will you be perfect? Of course not but a heart change reveals itself outwardly whereas an outward display without faith will be short lived. Speaking pious words and continuing to live as before says a trust was not born but a hell bet was attempted to be hedged. People, it's time to look deep. It's time to trust. It's time to make a heart change and it starts with trusting, believing in Messiah Jesus and taking that first step outside with confidence you are saved. You will stumble but now you constantly have an advocate to the Father that will help you, hold you and be with you in everything. Pray this and trust what the Word tells us;
   Heavenly Father, I am a sinner and I need your help trusting and accepting this gift of pardon. I don't quite get it all but I need your salvation. Help my unbelief come alive to belief. Teach me to pray and to talk with you about everything. Let me not be judgemental but remember I am a sinner. Help me live for you so that other want to meet you also. I accept and believe you are messiah and it's in your name I pray , amen.


I encourage you to read James 2. ask questions, search out the truth and not man made dogma. If you have accepted Jesus as messiah, things that are discerned spiritually will suddenly make sense. Take in the Word daily whether by print, radio etc...
