Good morning! How are we faithing? Mowing is therapeutic. I can put the ear buds in, watch the cut path, reflect on everything and talk to God. I can be whisked away in the music. I can analyze the lyrics and wonder what the author was going through when they wrote them. What chore do you have that relaxes you? Is there a duty that sometimes is a pain but at the same time is a chance to escape the daily bombardment or do you hate that just like every other physical necessity? You know, our attitude to the mundane says a lot about where we are spiritually as well as our disposition in life. So many people complain rather than seek a way for that chore to be useful, besides the practicality and the necessity of course. The garage gives me rest. Writing this daily too. I can play a mindless game on the computer while I listen to great sermons. Change your mind if chores are drudgery to you. Use them for benefit and not just endure while mumbling how much you hate it.
Jas_1:25
But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Ecc_9:10
Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
Col 3:23-24
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
