Good morning! How are we faithing? I saw a video of an 82 year old man who is still trying set records in drag racing. Don Garlits, one of my heroes, lost his wife Pat of 50+ years recently and his mind is still working. It brought to mind a few things. One was retirement? I've heard of so many people who retire and in short order they pass away. It also reminded me of the ages patriarchs in the Bible. Moses, Joshua and Noah were all senior citizens when thy started! This brings another thought to mind. I've heard people in their 60's saying,"I can't do for the Lord, I'm too old." Mule muffins. Nothing is further from the truth. What's interesting is by doing one can do more. By doing the work of God until we are called home we keep that twinkle. We are an inspiration to the younger people who don't have a clue. There is an older woman in church I just love to talk to and hug. Her eyes are bright and she has a heart for God. She doesn't sit on her laurels she keeps on keepin on. I want to be that way. I want to be speaking of my savior with my dying breath. I want to be like Don Garlits. I want to be like Noah and Moses and Joshua. I want that Holy Spirit flame burning forever. How about you?
Deu 34:7
And Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.
Jos 14:10-11
And now, behold, Jehovah hath kept me alive, as he spake, these forty and five years, from the time that Jehovah spake this word unto Moses, while Israel walked in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old. As yet I am as strong this day as I as in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, and to go out and to come in.
Gen 9:28-29
And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years. And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years: and he died.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your Word that sustains us. Lord we ask for wisdom and strength to speak of your wonders to our last breath. We ask you touch the doctors who have a huge job to do. Keep them aware that your touch makes all the difference in success. We ask those seeking employment that you let them know you have this life. Lord, forgive us when we goof up and grant us the courage to abstain from things that hurt us. In Jesus name, amen
