daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing this fine morning? I struggle sometimes with defining my self. Am I a Godly man seeking perfection or am I a sinner trying to improve? Am I an impoverished creation that will struggle all my days or am I a perfectly designed creature that is to stupid to make right choices? Or maybe I am made in God's image but am not God therefore the free will I have simply means I will make choices and they are on me. Temptation comes at us all and some things tempt me that don't tempt you and visa versa. The word tells us that God does not tempt us with evil but guides us through trials so we improve. I know I have gone through some things that sucked but when I sought Gods face I came out the other side wiser, stronger and more aware. That is unless I refused to admit I screwed up and continued as before. There's that free will again. I realized something in all this and that is that I don't know it all, I am not "good", I am what and who I am and if I wish to follow my Lord I have to become humble enough to face the truth in the mirror. I fall for some temptations and I am strong through some trials. The temptations I overcome and the trials I go through become much less burdensome when I rely completely on my savior and after a spell, it no longer is that big a deal temptation wise and the trial is dealt with so easily that it doesn't even effect me like they used to. How about you? Are you able to stand even when all about you falls? Are you relying on God for everything or just bidding lip service? Do you fold under pressure and cry about it? Let me introduce you to a savior that caries you at you weakest and walks beside you when you are strong...

1Co_1:25
Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

Rom 11:33-36
O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!  For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?  Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?  For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

1Co 1:18-19
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.  For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for salvation. Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for creating us. We praise your holy name. Grant us wisdom and courage in the face of all things while we occupy these weak vessels. Your design is perfect but we messed it up. Thank you for carrying me when I was weak and standing by me when I am strong. Clear our eyes. Heal our bodies. Cleans us from sin. We humble lift holy hands to you, and we pray in your sons name Jesus, amen
