God morning! How are we faithing? Look at this;
Rom 2:1
Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things.
What is this telling us? Are we not to recognize right from wrong? Are we not to judge whether or not we should do certain things? Of course we are but what we are not to do is judge that person but to judge the action as to whether it is sin or not. Only then can we take the appropriate action. Some people are quick to make judgements ABOUT other people to the point that they decide that person isn't worth leading to Christ. How does that happen? Your sin is not as bad as theirs? Are you mental? Where do you get that thought process from? The enemy of us all. He is the one who lies and cheats and steals. He is the one who whispers in your ear,"look at them, you ain't that bad, you better chastise them". People, call sin out but treat the sinner like you want to be treated. Sometimes it does require stern scolding but some times it does not, especially from you. Be that witness for Jesus that knows he or she is a sinner and genuinely wants others to find that grace you have found. You know, following the law does not earn points for us because it is the minimum standard so if you are not following the law perfectly, what right do you have to condemn another? Just think about it...
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for saving a sinner like us. Help us forgive as you have forgiven us and grant us wisdom on how to deal with sin that comes to our yard. Help us be loving, kind, and wise. Lord we praise your name and ask for a touch from you today. In Jesus name, amen
