daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? Separating worldly wisdom from Godly wisdom is an exercise that requires due diligence in reading of the scriptures. If one does not read scripture and meditate on it daily, how would they expect to function in God like fashion? How would they expect to resist the enemy and his minions and their ploys? I know I harp on this all the time but if I did not see and hear of people struggling with the same woes over and over I may try to get off the teet and on to solid food. Spiritually speaking when we are born again we are babies in Christ and without nourishment we cannot grow. Sitting in a pew does not always mean growth. While pew sitting is important you must do your own studying along with the sermons you hear so it settles deep within. Only then will your spiritual bones mature into healthy solid bones that can withstand use and abuse. We have a tendency like babies to be selfish and we allow worldly pleasures to overtake due responsibilities. Are we not suppose to lead the lost to the cross? How are we gonna do that if we're still newborns unable to speak? You don't have to become a preacher but it is wise to be able to express the fundamentals of our salvation. Have you fallen for the old ploy of holding your salvation close to your chest and like a small child yelling, "mine! Mine!"? You can't even live the truth if you don't know what the truth is.

Psa 34:8-9
O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

Psa 63:1-1
A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.  Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.  My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:  When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches. Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.  My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.  But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth. They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes. But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your Word that nourishes us. Open our eyes to your Word so we can see beyond ourselves and see what you would have us do. Forgive us when we screw up and look away from you. Help us be examples of your rhema Word. IN Jesus name, amen
