Good morning! How are we faithing? Pondering. Searching. Watching. These times we live in are truly interesting. I ponder what I read in the Word. I search for answers and wisdom and I watch. I watch as prophecy unfolds. I watch with knowledge gleaned from the Word. I question what I am seeing and whether or not it is fulfilling a prophecy or setting up a prophecy to be fulfilled. I also realize I can't figure it out in my own strength or thinking because I am but a mere man. God can reveal things in his Word when the time is right and when I need to know it. How about you? I'm sure you have read something and thought it was a waste of time but later, perhaps even years, it becomes clear. I am encouraging you to search scripture not out of duty or points to God but to know God. I am reading Daniel for the umpteenth time and it's still fresh and it still has me pondering. What intrigues you? What made you say "huh?" or what did you like when you read it the first time? I say, read it again. This is one that always makes me ponder....
Dan 12:8-12
And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
Dan 12:8-12

and this;
Dan 10:12-13
Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
Oh we could study for days just on these and it evokes thinking, praying and searching every time I read them. Find what gets you interested in Biblical exploration and enjoy time with God's Word.
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for vision. Thank you for your spirit. Thank you for grace that allows us to see your Word for the love it shows. Lord we bless you and stand on your Word as our foundation for this life and forever. Open our eyes to all you would have us do, in Jesus name, amen
