Good morning! How are we faithing? Ever have the start to one of those days where you just don't want to do anything? Just tired, worn and just want to sit and think? I overslept and that is where I am today. So many things to think about. I am wondering how my family and friends in the northeast are faring with the blizzard. I'm wondering what med my bride can take that doesn't have weird side effects. I am thinking of where God would have me in ministry. I am going to do some things this year but what is in store long term? You know, age doesn't bother me for doing things in the name of Jesus but it is on my mind thinking about longer term things like building a garage or taking on something my body may say no to. Then I realize Moses for example was 80. Noah was over a hundred. God will equip who he calls. Still, with everything going on around us, I ponder. I would be willing to bet even with all the miracles Moses saw he would sometimes roll his eyes and say, "e-gads man, same stuff day after day. Will they ever snap out of it?" I see it out there and I see it in myself. All I really do is lean into God and not be afraid or ashamed to go to him for everything. He's not a santa but my friend. I know he will reveal what is best and I can totally trust his ways over mine and in that I can relax and trust. We are all loved people so when you get in a place like this, do what you need to do but never turn from God because he really has all this in his hands.
Heb 1:8-12
But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your steadfastness that we can rely on. You are always there to hold our hand and to encourage us on. Lord, bless those who are suffering physical and mental maladies. Bless those who seek you and your wisdom. Lord we ask you keep the people of New England safe in this storm. Bless the emergency workers in Jesus name, amen
