daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? It's a fine thing to be called of God and guess what? We believers all have been. We are called to spread the gospel by living holy and sometimes we spread it with words. I don't know what you think of yourself inside but I'm here to assure you that you are redeemed, reborn anew, a holy priesthood, a holy nation and it all is because of Jesus. You may feel totally inadequate or unworthy but let me say I think that is a normal condition of mankind before Christ. Unless of course one is an  egomaniac.Self confidence vs self adulation or veneration are two different things. An egomaniac thinks they are good at what they do because they are just that awesome where a self confident man realizes the work, the training, the sacrifice of themselves and others so they can be good at what they do. They realize God has given them hands, feet, a brain, a mouth, eyes to be  able to do things well. Be pleased when you do well but don't forget to thank God for us even being here, let alone building us to do. I look around and am in such awe of God's work on this blue orb. So now we've cleared that up, start spreading the Gospel and thank God for the oppotunity...

Php 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

2Co 3:4-6
And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:  Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

Heavenly Father,
thank you for your blessings. Thank you for all our abilities. Thank you for loving us. We lift those who are suffering with maladies of all types. Help us remember to be quick to pray, slow with our mouths and willing to to your work in Jesus name, amen
