daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? Gee whiz the political gaffing and twisting of facts is driving me crazy. The only thing worse than talking heads moving info to suit their own gains is that satan and his henchmen laughing while they pull the strings on their marionettes. So what do we do? We are believers in Jesus and any student of prophecy can see things transpire all the while any student of history can see it all coming back around. The first thing we have to do is shut the TV and the radio off for a spell. When we sit there dumbfounded at the tomfoolery we have to go back to the source of all truth, God's Word. Kids, if you stay on the news without a break you will get depressed but we ought not get that way because of what we see. We have to remind ourselves that all this is in God's hands and MANKIND is the one who messes things up...and then they blame God...wow, what idiocy. Lets decide to read our bibles daily and stay grounded in our savior and then we can decipher all this junk out there. We still have to lead the masses of people who are depressed from all these things going down all over the world. Things will happen but we have a perfect savior in Jesus who can grant a peace while all around is the opposite. We can pray for those who are lost and hurting and to what end? Pardon. Peace. The will to get up and go on. We are the light. We are the salt to flavor the world. Our mission is to seek and show the lost the path to salvation. Lets get to it.

Luk 6:47-49
Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:   He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.  But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for grace that saves even the likes of me. Please forgive our failings this day and lead us to where you want us to be. Help us control our tongues. Let only peace and love you give come from it. Grant us wisdom and courage to stand in the face of evil. Keep our minds clear so we act honorably in your eyes. In Jesus name, amen
