daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? Do not be fooled by ministers who distort the gospel. Do not think that just because a church has opulent buildings and thousands at church on Sunday that they have it all figured out. There are people being spoon fed a doctrine that scratches their ears and does nothing for their soul. These churches are appealing to our human wants and not our soul needs. I am not saying that every mega church is preaching wrongly but that many are. This whole seeker style is suspect. This good easy prosperous life is not guaranteed anywhere in the gospel. Name it and claim it does not mean God will give you that Mercedes. Our fleshly desires are not promised. We are to seek God's face. We are to seek the holy things and not the carnal things It just seems that so many people think they can say the magic words up front in church and go right back to their old life. Why would you want to? The act of repentance is a change of mind and a realization you are in need of a savior thus you confess your sins and leave a changed man or woman. How could one believe that  now they have a free ticket out of hell so I can do whatever I want. False doctrine is how. Rationalizing that thus and so makes me happy therefore God would want me to do this or that, never mind that it is sinful. God will never have you sin to achieve his goals. Don't be fooled. I see different denominations starting to join together and while some of it is good news, some is not. We cannot align with heresy. We cannot align with heretics in the name of Christ unity. The Word is the authority and not a leader or a man. The Bible is full of warnings about such things so before you believe, follow or align yourself with someone or some thing, make sure it corresponds with the entire Word of God and not just a piece of it twisted for sordid gain.

Gal 5:17-26
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,  Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.  Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for salvation. Thank you for teaching us how to live in your Word. Help us convey your ways Lord when we meet the lost. Help us not fall for false prophets that come imitating your light. Grant us wisdom to see the enemy's ploys. Lord we lift those who are fooled by false doctrine and ask the scales be removed from their eyes. We pray for our friends and families to find you in all they do. In Jesus name, amen
