daily prayer

Good morning! How are we faithing? I want to encourage you to be of good cheer no matter what you face in this life. All of these trappings of this flesh is indeed fleeting. I read of Martin Luther and his list of 95 things that were wrong in the religious sense and how that one act of standing on truth changed the last 500ish years in Christendom. That was a very short peak at the whole story but suffice for this note. We must be aware of the truth and because of Martins eye opening step, religion was shown to have become corrupt and if he hadn't enlightened us, how would we have known? What you have access to today, the Bible, is why we have no excuse for not informing ourselves of the truth. If we are to busy, to lazy, disinterested in the truth and blindly follow a church leader you are in danger of having a religion shod of the truth and susceptible to heresy. Not to diss anybody but to make us all realize the importance of Biblical study.

Tit 2:11-15
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,  Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;  Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.  These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for truth in your Word. Thank you for showing yourself to us. Help us understand and glean all you have for us individually every day.Help us live in a manner so the lost want what we have in you. Open our eyes like yours Lord, forgive our sins in Jesus name, amen.
