Good morning! How are we faithing? There are a lot of thought provoking things in the Bible. Searching out different things causes me to find other things. Indeed the Spirit in us taps us on the shoulder and points at interesting things. I assume the Spirit reveals different things to people along with the same things. I ran into one verse and thought, "Jesus was a southerner";
Rom 8:18
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the coming glory to be revealed in us.
Besides the obvious message in that verse, he did say "I reckon". HeHe Then there is these from Malachi;
Mal 3:17-18
And they shall be Mine, says Jehovah of Hosts, for the day that I will make up My treasure. And I will pity them as a man has pity on his son who serves him.
Then you shall again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between him who serves God, and him who does not serve Him.
Not a cultural thing or a churchy thing but the difference between living holy and not. The difference between seeking God's face and not. Makes me look around and ponder. Isaiah is full of brain food. Here's one;
Isa 3:10-11
Say to the righteous that it is well; for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
Woe to the wicked! For the evil doing of his hand will be done to him.
Wow man. What can I add to that?! The point this morning is for you to search scripture. Seek God's face in his holy Word. Ponder the Word humbly. Pray that the Word is revealed and the spirit confirms it.
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your Word that nourishes us. Thank you for preachers and teachers that make us think on you. Lord, reveal your path to us so we walk it rather than our own. We bless you Lord for all you do. Thank you for friends Lord, in Jesus name, amen
