Good morning! How are we faithing? I hope you had a safe 4th! I want to talk about our country and patriotism. Some have a problem with being patriotic these days but their problem is misplaced. A country founded and wants to follow God's ways will always prosper. If that country forgets God it will slowly decline and disappear as we know it and eventually collapse completely. Look at history of past nations that have fallen or even simply phased out to a third world country. Countries not founded on God and his principles fail. The soviet Union for example; Marxism lasted from 1917 to 1990. That's a short life for a country. Russia came back because of the freedom of the churches is my understanding. Where it goes now, well, we'll see. Point to all this is for patriotism to  be healthy we must put God first and then country. If we do it the other way around it becomes like idol worship.

Isa_58:2  Yet they seek Me daily, and delight to know My ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and one who did not forget the ordinance of their God. They ask of Me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in drawing near to God.

Isa 60:12  For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you will perish. Yes, those nations will be completely wasted. 

Heavenly Father, We pray for this nation that they come back to you and your ways. Forgive us that repent and set our eyes toward truth. Help us stand up against the folly that has been let in our country. We seek your face Lord, In Jesus name, amen
